Hua Hin
Royal seaside town on the Gulf of Thailand.
What is Hua Hin like for visitors?
Hua Hin is a seaside town on the western shore of the Gulf of Thailand, in Prachuap Khiri Khan province south of Bangkok. Often described as Thailand's first beach resort, it has close royal ties: Klai Kangwon Palace, built by King Rama VII, is still an official royal residence. Visitors come for the long town beach, the hill of Khao Takiab, night markets, a historic railway station and the golf courses in the area, which make Hua Hin popular with golfers and with travellers looking for a calmer beach stay.
